One-time charge on August bills - 7/25/11
A one-time interim rate adjustment will be applied to all Minnesota Power retail customers on August 2011 bills. This charge represents the difference between the MPUC-authorized final rate increase in our 2009 rate case and the lower amount that was collected during the interim rate period. Because the approved total final rate increase for all retail customers was higher than the interim rate increase, there will be no refunds for this rate case.
